Preparing the frame for powder coating.

Check all the clips of this build on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUgP21i0KaXjtIfS-Ws7K1A
The weight of the bare frame is now 13,2 Kg. We stripped the frame and finished the welding. All the rough spots need to be smoothed so the electric cables will not be damaged. You hardly can’t imagine how much work it takes to change the sub frame. Sander also had to make a few mounting spots for the new side plates.

I had the idea of adding an air intake to the side panels but after shortening and installing the wiring we concluded there’s no space left. And above all the plates shaped like this look very clean. Of course, I couldn’t resist to sit on this little masterpiece made by Sander. Next week we will disassemble the whole bike and can the final welding of the frame begin. So far, we are very glad with this result. Our goal is to build a distinguished bike and in my opinion it will work out fine.

Last weekend we started shaping the side panels. The left panel was relative ease to shape. By accident we found out that following the curved triangle makes the left panel elegant. The right panel is very difficult to shape because of all the angles in the frame.
